  54. I have worked several stations on AO-27 using only 
  55. a HT and a 1/4 wave wip antenna. "It can be done!"

  57. AO-27, 145.850 MHz FM up
  58.        436.800 MHz FM dn
  59.  
  60. AO-27 is only a part time amateur satellite FM repeater, weekends 
  61. ONLY! During amateur usage, its on solar panel engery only. This 
  62. means the satellite needs to be on the sunny side of its orbit 
  63. (daytime at your QTH).

  65. Be sure to adjust for doppler shift. At the beginning of the pass,
  66. start listening around 436.805 to 436.810 MHz and tune downward
  67. as the pass proceedes. At the end of the pass, you will be tuning 
  68. around 436.760 MHz
